The talent that is the Waterford Crafts Group, returns once again to showcase at Kilkenny Arts Week 2019. Explore the finest range of exclusive gift ideas handmade by local craftspeople at their craft fair in the Ormonde College, Kilkenny. Located in the historic building just a 6-minute walk from Kilkenny Castle, the craft fair will open every day from Friday 9th to Sunday 18th of August, 10 am to 5.30 pm.

The Waterford Crafts Group, formally known as the Waterford Homecrafts, participated in Kilkenny Arts Week for 16 years from 1995 to 2010 and return this year to share the exclusive talent of local people from all over the South East. Covering a wide and varied collection of creative disciplines, suiting all tastes, budgets and all manner of style. These locally crafted products include hand beaded jewellery, quirky hand painted ceramics, skateboards made from Irish ash, hand woven rainbow wool rugs, hand stitched leather handbags, individually crocheted cuddly toys and organic skincare, to name but a few.

The selection available is eclectic, diverse and unique to the Craft Fair and of an internationally recognised standard. Many of the creators exhibiting their wares are members of the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland.
